Service cost
When paying via the app, some cities may apply an additional service cost, regardless of the payment method you use.
You can see this cost in the App when starting a parking ticket below the Validity and Total amount information, named as Service cost, as well as in the information prior to ticket confirmation. Likewise, when the invoice is generated, the additional service fee is itemised.
Partial refund
If the local council has previously approved the possibility of recovering the unused amount, you can do so from mowiz. This refund is made in time blocks, and not exactly by the minute you leave.
What does that mean?
That when you get a parking meter ticket, the system reserves a parking time. If you leave earlier, you can recover part of the money, but the refund is calculated in blocks (or segments), not minute by minute.
Tickets extended to the next day
If a payment is made after the parking service has ended, or the paid time exceeds the parking service limit, the parking meter will issue a ticket valid for the following day of the corresponding time regulation.
Under no circumstances will the exceeded time be refunded, as it is the user’s responsibility to check the ticket details before confirming the parking, that is, a confirmed ticket cannot be modified or cancelled: always check details before confirming.
