If your schedule changes and you will not arrive at the previously established time:
- Valet service: try to notify the driver using the phone number shown on your reservation to rearrange the vehicle pickup or delivery.
- Parking with transfer: the indicated time is approximate, so you can arrive earlier or later without problems in most cases.
If you return late, many parkings offer a grace period of 1 to 4 hours (indicated in your reservation).
If this period is exceeded or a new rate period begins, you must pay for the additional time according to the parking conditions.
Common examples:
- Parkings with daily (24h) rates: an additional day may be charged if a new period starts, that is, a reservation with entry to the parking on the 25th at 16:00 and exit on the 26th at 13:00 does not start a new rate period until the 26th at 16:00, so a delay on the 26th between 13:00 and 16:00 does not entail an extra cost.
- Parkings with calendar day rates: usually there is no extra cost until 00:00. Thus, a reservation with exit at 18:00 does not incur an extra charge if the delay does not reach midnight (00:00h).
- Parkings charged by hours, more common in city car parks, bill the extra time consumed at the usual parking rate.
At airport parkings, if you indicated your flight, often the parking can anticipate delays and adapt to them.
